Find something Lu

A prototype for an interactive website and portfolio, inviting viewers to play around and ‘find something Lu’.

As a part of my MA studies and for the module ‘Digital Media and Web Technologies’, I developed a second portfolio website with the intention of it complimenting ‘iambeckylu.com’, as well as becoming an extension to the existing artwork shown on it.

Using a play on words that combines my last name of ‘Lu’ and the ideas that surround the phrase of ‘learning something new’, this project aimed to experiment with creating an interactive user interface and the use of different mediums within my work.

Learning a new approach can sometimes help you to find out more about yourself. In this case, the viewer was able to navigate through the online pages of ‘findsomethinglu.co.uk’ and explore recent art projects, as well as uncover animations of personal tales and anecdotes that would appear depending on their user interactivity.
